Alejandro Montoya Hernández

Alejandro Montoya Hernández holds a Law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (2011–2016) and has dedicated his career exclusively to Criminal Law since his professional training began. He has worked at several highly respected law firms specializing in criminal litigation, building a solid practice focused on technical criminal defense and legal advisory in highly complex cases.

He holds a Master’s degree in Criminal Policy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) (2021–2023), and a Specialization in Accusatory Criminal Procedure Law from the National Institute of Criminal Sciences (INACIPE). His education is complemented by courses and certifications in corporate criminal liability and compliance, including advanced training as a Compliance Officer from the University of Salamanca.

In addition to his litigation work, he serves as a professor of Criminal Law (General Part) at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where he actively contributes to the academic development of future legal professionals.

Gerardo Montoya Hernández holds a Law degree from Universidad Iberoamericana (2010–2015), with professional practice exclusively in Criminal Law.

He has worked at renowned law firms such as Portilla, Ruy-Díaz y Aguilar and Junquera Abogados, participating in technically complex criminal litigation, which has allowed him to develop a specialized profile in criminal procedural strategy and the management of high-stakes legal proceedings.

He has a strong command of legal English, enabling him to communicate directly and efficiently with multinational companies and clients seeking criminal advisory or representation in Mexico.

Lara García

Associate | Attorney

Israel Lara García holds a Law degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) and a degree in Information Studies from the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at the same university.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Law with a focus on Constitutional Law at UNAM’s Law School, where he is conducting research on the justiciability of cultural rights before Mexico’s Supreme Court.

He has experience in criminal, civil, commercial, and family litigation, with a specialization in both direct and indirect amparo (constitutional relief). He has also developed legal strategies in the areas of intellectual property and regulatory compliance. His multidisciplinary profile includes experience in document management and museography, with participation in high-level legal and cultural projects.

With over 25 years of experience in strategic criminal litigation, he is recognized nationally for his work in human rights defense and legal representation of high-level public officials and business executives.

He has served as Legal Director of the Federal Preventive Police, Special Prosecutor at the Attorney General’s Office, and Legal Manager at PEMEX. He currently leads CEOFORENSE México, a firm that works in coordination with MH Criminal Defense Attorneys on high-impact litigation and advanced forensic consulting.

Daniel Arnold holds a degree in Criminology and Criminalistics, two Master’s degrees in Forensic Criminology and Criminal Profiling, and is a doctoral candidate in Criminal Justice. He is a certified expert in Forensic Victimology, Document Examination, and Criminal Compliance.
